Clever. I've thought about writing checks in Japanese... but I don't know... do they accept it??

I don't know... they didn't even spell π right... pyrite?... in the 'translation' - but I could see someone being hacked off at Verizon enough to do that. I usually am but I don't do math stuff so I just make frownie faces on any checks I send.

Haha!! Pyrite (fool's gold) is very beautiful. (Not pyrit though I'm sure she is too...but nobody's fool.)

yep, that'd be him all right.

I've sent money orders in Icelandic Kronin. And I once paid a disputed bill that resolved out of my favor by writing 59 separate one-dollar checks and one check for $1.84. That was before my bank started it's per-check fee.
