the morning yowl
Money's pretty tight lately. Today was Edgar's follow-up appointment for post-radioiodine treatment bloodwork. About $250 later, we were on our way back home. I swear, if anything turns up in that bloodwork that involves more money, that cat is going to have to get a part-time job. On the bright side, his vet says he looks great, he's gained back almost all the weight he lost (I could have sworn he'd gained it all back, but if he hasn't by now, I wouldn't think he will considering he's still eating like a horse and isn't back up to his old weight), and he seems fine. She told me that the nuclear vet people even made a note on his chart that he was "a nice cat".

That's so nice about his chart! Aww.
I keep telling Elvis he's using up his college fund. That's how we justify paying for all his upkeep. It's all worth it!
I always tell kiki that she needs to get a paper route or something. Even though she hasn't cost me a lot of money (knock on wood), it would be nice to have her contribute to her room and board - and nip ain't free! :)
