is it something in the ottawa air?
Okay, so I got a little distracted and only got around to heading to the kitchen to make my salad a half an hour ago. Fine, whatever. I live alone so I'll eat when I damn well feel like it, okay? Anyway, I thought I was BA for a second (poor BA, I'm sorry for the insult) when I looked up and realized there were at least a dozen goddamned flies buzzing around. I had one in the bathroom last night and promptly Black Flagged it. Those suckers are hard to kill, but no biggie because one or two invariably show up at some point during the summer. But as many as I found tonight? Yuck! I immediately started spritzing the BF, in the direction of the window, and that got them all excited. I figured that at least some of them would eventually land and die. I spritzed again and vowed to go buy some flystrips or something tomorrow after work. At the same time, one had indeed fallen to the floor so I disposed of him quickly. Then it hit me - you idiot, Edgar loves flies! And you've just spritzed BF on a handful of them! FUCK! No more spritzing, and I'll do a good check for dead or sickly ones before I go to bed. At least the heat lately makes him really lethargic, so maybe he won't go chasing and leaping too hard for them.
In the meantime, I turned my attention to making my supper. I grabbed the makings out of the fridge and realized that my brand new, only opened and used once, bag of romaine was going brown already. Well, fuck. I really really really wanted that salad, though, so after pawing through the bag, I found enough decent bits to make the salad. And it was indeed delicious. Apparently I'll need to pick up more than fly strips tomorrow.
Have I mentioned that, while it is indeed lovelier every day, my tattoo hurts like a sumbitch? It feels like the biggest, sorest bruise I've ever had.
While I was eating, I perused loltheist
.
I hadn't checked them out in a dog's age because they were hardly
getting any submissions, so I figured it was just a matter of time
before they went crucifix-up. I am very pleased to see that they are
indeed still around, and even going strong. I'll have to get around to making some more for them. I've got a few months of
history to go through now. Here's one that I snagged for you:

have you see the Debbie-somebody's bags that are supposed to make fruits & veggies stay fresh longer? I bought the bags. If I ever get around to buying some fruits & veggies to put in them, I'll report on whether or not they work.

What sort of music would stripper jebus dance to?
Paradise by the Dashboard Lights?
Lol @ Stripper Jebus and lolthiest! I'll have to check it out!
Boo, flies! We haven't had them in the house yet. The ant parade is over, I suppose it's flytime!
Oh I hate lettuce that won't last more than two days, too! Bleah!
